With real, noticeable results, no surgery and no recovery time, Botox® is a fast and simple treatment that can temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the brows, forehead and around the eyes. Targeting the facial muscles that cause persistent lines to develop over time, Botox relaxes muscle contractions, thereby reducing lines. One 10 to 15 minute treatment of a few tiny injections delivers lasting results for up to three months.

Ideal Candidates for injectables

Botox injections are ideal for patients who want to smooth the visible look of dynamic lines on their upper face nonsurgically. Botox is also used as a preventive anti-aging treatment, even if you are younger — keep in mind how often you find yourself making facial expressions. It is a great, noninvasive approach if you have forehead wrinkles or noticeable furrows between the brows. It is also a solution for lines that form around the eyes. If you experience more severe and deeper lines, an injectable filler may be recommended.

Popular Treatment Areas

What To Expect

Following the injection, you can resume your typical activities, although strenuous exercise should be avoided for a minimum of 24 hours. You will be advised to sleep upright for at least one night and to avoid touching your face, which can accidentally spread the Botox to other areas. The injected sections of your face can be slightly bruised, red, or swollen for a few days, but you should not experience any severe or lasting side effects. In most cases, it takes approximately one week before the final results are visible. The results typically last 3 – 4 months.

  • Dermal Fillers
  • Lip Fillers
  • Butt Lift and Fillers

Fillers enhance your appearance by filling areas of lost volume, restoring areas that lack shape and definition, reducing the depth of fine lines and wrinkles, and augmenting atrophied areas such as the buttocks or other musculature.

Fillers can instantly enhance your appearance by:

  • Lifting the lower face (removing jowls), cheeks (creating angular cheekbones), smile (correcting drooping corners of the mouth)
  • Concealing and smoothing fine lines on the face, neck lines, lip lines, smoker’s lines, puppet lines, marionette lines, eyebags and scars
  • Softening smile lines, laughing lines and deep facial folds
  • Adding volume to a thin face and hollowed temples
  • Creating youth to an aging face
  • Rejuvenating a tired-looking face
  • Jaw reshaping to create a defined and smoother jawline
  • Non-surgical nose job to reshape and define the nose
  • Non-surgical chin implant
  • Earlobe repair for stretched out earlobes

Our office uses Juvederm, Restylane, and Versa, containing Hyaluronic Acid (HA); Radiesse with Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA); and Sculptra made with Polylactic Acid (PLLA) as facial fillers. After a detailed facial assessment, the area is disinfected and then the facial filler is gently injected with a fine needle into the targeted areas.

Ideal Candidates

The best candidates for injectable treatments are men or women who have facial lines and wrinkles they would like to correct. It may also be beneficial if you have age-related volume loss or naturally thin lips or cheeks.

What To Expect

Do not rub or apply firm pressure (no facials!) to the injected areas for 24 hours following treatment unless directed to do so. Avoid activities that involve lying face down, such as physiotherapy treatment or massages. Avoid exercise and strenuous activity for the first 24 hours after facial filler injection. The injections start taking effect immediately, with the full result of treatment occurring between 2-4 weeks post injection. Swelling is expected after facial filler injections. The degree of swelling varies from person to person, depending on their sensitivity, the product, and the area treated. Occasional bruising of the skin at the injection point may occur. This may last a few days, and can be camouflaged with makeup. If you are out in the sun you need to reapply sunblock (SPF 30+) every 2 hours. Avoid thermal trauma such as hot showers, whirlpools, steam rooms, saunas, etc. for 2 days following treatment. No sunbathing for 2 weeks post-injection! This can morph the shape of the filler. Do not take any anti-inflammatory or blood thinning medications for 1 week following treatment. This includes Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, Advil and Antihistamine Medications.
