What does a XERF treatment feel like?
Most clients describe it as a warm, comfortable sensation with mild pressure. The built-in cooling system regulates surface temperature throughout, so the treatment is well-tolerated without numbing cream. There are moments of increased warmth, but no pain.
How many treatments will I need?
Many clients see meaningful results after a single session. Depending on your skin goals and the degree of laxity, your provider may recommend a series. We will discuss this during your consultation at Cosmetic Confidence.
When will I see results?
Some tightening is often visible immediately after treatment - what is known as the "first peak." The fuller results develop over 4-12 weeks as your skin's collagen remodeling process continues. Results are long-lasting, and many clients choose periodic maintenance sessions.
What areas can be treated?
XERF is most commonly used on the face and neck - including the lower face, jawline, cheeks, and neck laxity. It is also used for body tightening. Your provider will assess your areas of concern and recommend the best approach.
How is XERF different from other RF treatments?
Most RF devices treat a single depth. XERF's dual-frequency technology reaches the shallow, middle, and deep tissue layers simultaneously - including the SMAS, the same foundational layer targeted in surgical facelifts.
